Member of Prof. Toni Gist’s teaching team for Contemporary Nutrition (FSHN120), supporting course delivery and student engagement. Co-authoring the book “What Your Students Aren’t Telling You,” focusing on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging in the field of nutrition. Completed an educational fellowship in sustainable food systems leadership with The Leadership Academy, focusing on the challenges within industrial animal agriculture and developing the skills and mindsets necessary for advancing systems-level change.

I had the opportunity to produce and direct cultural podcast episodes with Salaam MENA Cultural Center. Additionally, I received training in catering basics and services, which provided me with a solid foundation in food service operations. I also conducted thorough content analysis on cultural sensitivity within the food and nutrition industry.
